Control Agencies Procedures
The Foreign Trade Procedures can be implemented in the CCS.
The Administrative authorisations can be delivered by the agencies using the CCS.
Unloading of the ship (containers and break bulk)
All the discharge movements are recorded by the CCS regardless the manifest.
Customs immediatly know the overlanded and shortlanded shipments.
The information on discharge are available to the stakeholders directly in the CCS.
Customs Declarations
Once the customs declaration is validated in the Customs Management System, it is sent to the CCS in order to update the shipment known by the CCS.
Customs Authorisation
Customs use the CCS to authorise / refuse actions on the cargo.
Transhipment, Transfer, X-Ray, ... can be managed in CCS.
Delivery Order
Once the delivery order is given to the freight forwarder or the importer, the shipping agent informs the CCS.
The freight forwarder can the access to the details of the shipment.
Haulier Identification
The freight forwarder or the shipping agent identifies the Inland Carrier (Road, Rail, Barge) who is responsible for the inland transport.
Gate Out Authorisation
Once the shipment has received all the authorisations, a message (EDI, Mail or document) is sent to the terminal.
With this authorisation, the terminal can deliver the goods to the right inland carrier.
The inland carrier does not have to present documents at the gate since the terminal operator has received all the information from the CCS.
Gate-Out
The gate-out movement is recorded by the CCS.
Container Movements at Importer's
Once the container arrives at the importer's premises, the importer records the gate-in movement in the CCS.
When the container leaves the premises, the importer records the gate-out.
Container Gate-In at Empty Container Depot
The gate-in of the container at the empty container depot is recorded in the CCS.
